Commissioned by The Architects’ Journal, S/B worked closely with Jamie Fobert Architects and Tate St. Ives to produce a short film about the project, focusing on St Ives’ key role in the history of British Art and the locations unique light and how it effected the design of the building. Documentary / Placetest: Kings Cross Central

 

Commissioned by The Developer, and working with anthropologist Nitasha Kapoor, S/B produced a full length documentary on the development of London’s Kings Cross area, critically delving into the impact the changes have had on the end users and local residents. Commissioned as part of an ongoing series in collaboration with Piers Taylor, S/B created a slow and reflective film that investigates the work of Gianni Botsford and how our relationship to the sun shapes and moulds his architecture, culminating in his most recent project, House in a Garden. Case Study / Holmes Wood

As part of a rebranding exercise, wayfinding experts Holmes Wood took the opportunity to pause and reflect on the implementation of their work in 7 key projects across the UK. S/B produced films on each project, plus a longer film, Comfortably Lost, on their practice and way of working.

Case Study / Benoy

For their 70th birthday, international architecture firm Benoy, commissioned S/B to film 15 of their key projects in Europe, Asia and the Middle East over a 6 week period. In addition to the 15 Building Study films, individual clips were also embedded into their new website, making the footage integral to their rebrand. You can see how this works here.
